  11. I am interested in adding non-HP 1.3 Gbyte hard drives to a
  12. HP/Apollo 425t, 425s, and DN10000 workstations.  I am looking
  13. for non-HP disks in order to keep the cost of the disks down.

  15. The 425t has two 200 MByte internal drives, so I plan to buy
  16. an HP model 660D Mass Storage System.  I would then buy a 1.3
  17. GByte drive and install it into the 660D.
  18.  
  19. The 425s was purchased with a 1.3 GByte (HP) disk and I wish
  20. to install another disk.
  21.  
  22. The DN10000 has one 697 Mbyte internal drive and I would like
  23. to add a 1.3 GByte drive onto the single controller.
  24.  
  25. My questions are as follows:

  27.   1.  What non-HP 1.3 GByte drives are compatible with the
  28.       above mentioned machines and configurations?
  29.  
  30.   2.  What hardware (ie: screws, mounts, etc) if any do I
  31.       need to mount the drives?
  32.  
  33.   3.  Should I expect any compatibility problems between the
  34.       HP and non-HP hardware?
  35.  
  36.   4.  What 3rd party vendors sell hard disk upgrades for the
  37.       above mentioned Apollo's?
  38.  
  39.   5.  Is there anyone out there in net land that has had
  40.       some experience with adding disks to their Apollo's?
