- Hello everyone...
-
- Has anyone sucessfully disabled the Xetec controller/Harddrive
- on an A500 ? Sometimes, I use my machine for just games which are not
- harddrive compatible and since this controller does not have a game
- switch, I would like to know if there is a way to disable the darn
- thing without unplugging it. Besides, I play for hours on certain games
- like Pinball Dreams which does not support FastRAM or Harddrive. There's
- no need to have the RAM and drive running for many hours (it's just a
- waste of resources ... Wasting electricity, heating up the room,
- decrease the life of the equipment, etc.)
- If someone has a hack on how to do such a thing, I would love
- to know how it can be done. I can deal with some soldering and minor
- fixup.
