- 2.04 header files will work fine for 1.3 development. However, you
- will need to make sure that you do not call any 2.0-specific
- functions in the system resident libraries.

- Also, if you choose, you could get the 1.3 header files that Commodore
- distributes and use those. There is nothing compiler-specific in
- there, so you would need the SAS/C-provided header files for things
- like <stdio.h>, <stdlib.h> and so forth. The V5 SAS/C-provided files
- will NOT work correctly with V6 (you will compile correctly but get
- unresolved symbols at link time.)
