- Of course the 1.3 header files from 5.10b will work with 6.0. The 1.3 headers
- haven't changed. Of course the 2.04 header files can be used for 1.3
- development, as long as you don't use 2.04 features unless on a machine with
- 2.04 or better.
-
- The OS includes aren't tied to a specific compiler -- 1.3 includes are the same
- for all revs of all compilers. The OS includes are backward compatible -- if
- they weren't, you probably would have a machine that was compatibile with older
- programs. The only reason you might want 1.3 includes is if you want to make
- sure you don't accidentally take advantage of 2.04 features -- but you can do
- that by running on a 1.3 machine.
