- We tried this with 5.10, and found that the speed increase was
- negligable (~5%). The compiler just doesn't seem to benefit much
- from the difference.

- I'll put it on the list to try it again, and if it gains us enough
- improvement we'll consider issuing an '030 version, but the gains
- would have to be pretty significant to offset the added technical
- support complexity.
