  28. The Kwikstart board has two configurations which allow you to switch
  29. between either:
  30.     a) two sets of ROMS
  31.     b) one ROM and the normal kickstart disk
  32.  
  33. The board toggles when CTRL-AMIGA-AMIGA keys are pressed for more than
  34. five seconds when rebooting.
  35.  
  36. So you CAN boot under 2.0 and 1.3 (1.2 or earlier if you like).  Once
  37. the Kickstart 1.3 disk contents are loaded, switching between 2.0 and
  38. 1.3 doesn't require the kickstart disk (which is nice).

  40. Installation involves replacing a PAL. Note also that the installation
  41. instructions assume your A1000 has a daughter board (mine doesn't) -
  42. this can make placing the two jumper leads difficult.

  44. I have used KwikstartII for a number of weeks now without problem.
