- Sorry to spleen-vent all over the place, but I find this sort of reasoning
- a bit infuriating. Yes, if you splurge an extra penny per unit to provide
- a million customers with a slightly better product, you've "spent" ten
- thousand dollars. But since you're making say, a five hundred dollar profit
- on each sale, you've also taken in a *half a billion* dollars to console
- yourself with.
