- Again I concur with the point that dealers are scarce, hell, one just
- closed in Manhattan (KS) and the only reputable one in Kansas City
- closed more than a year ago. All that's left is one in Topeka (not
- much of a dealer, ergo. they have a 500 and lots of PC's on display)
-
- _HOWEVER_ -MB- can't say whether the information was correct or
- incorrect _factually if he doesn't have the information, which I
- suspect he doesn't. You shouldn't say he's wrong because, "... there
- can't possibly be this many [1000 dealers]." After all Mr. Barney is
- more likely to have access to that kindo of information than you or I
- or MB will.

- I think rather than quibling over the numbers we should all just grant
- the point that C= needs better dealer support as well as support for
- their customers. Although some of 'us' -); could use some less inflamatory
- language, I think it would do C= well to start soliciting suggestions as
- "actively" as they solicited help during their "time of crisis"--the
- _Slow Death of the Amiga_ article, as many of the complaints I read
- after filtering the language I have heard from a hundred other people
- on a hundred other occasions. (BTW, alright maybe it was only 99
- people-);-):
