- I recently obtained an HP IIP plus laser printer for use with my
- Amiga. I eventually plan on upgrading it to Postscript, but until
- then, I have been using the Post program to print my PS files.
- I am looking, however, for the symbol character set, since much of
- what I print out (well, ok, almost all of it) is technical in
- nature. I found some fonts used with the MSDOS ghostscript
- program, but they don't work. I assume that they can be converted
- somehow, but I don't know how.
-
- I am also interested in printing plots (such as those created by
- gnuplot) but I haven't had much success. (The printer doesn't have
- enough memory for me to save them as postscript, then dump them,
- and when I try to print directly, I get garbage)
-
- Any other advice or info would be appreciated (such as the location
- of a more current printer driver, etc) I am running a 2000 with
- '020 accelerator, WB1.3 and 7megs of ram (0.5 chip) if that
- matters.
