  12. i'm sure i'm doing something boneheaded, and am simply overlooking the
  13. obvious. however, knowing that doesn't alleviate the problem.

  15. whenever i _clean up_ a window, then _snapshot_all_, my .info files 
  16. are modified to have the e bit unmodifyable. i go into the shell,
  17. type

  19. protect xxx.info +e
  20.  
  21. list it and it shows rwed. i try again, same thing happens, position
  22. won't be saved.

  27. OS2.04, a multitude of pd/shareware running at startup (which will wind
  28. up being the problem with my luck).
