- What about them? It sounds to me like they have nice machines, if
- they have "upgraded them to the max." Not every computer can accept every
- upgrade. If it could, then large leaps in technology would not be possible
- (in general). My A1000 doesn't have the ECS, has 512K CHIP RAM, no slots,
- etc.... and I don't expect Commodore to provide them for a 5-year-old
- machine.

- No, I think C= will continue to bring out new machines and new
- hardware. While they do have an excellent record (IMHO) of allowing
- upgrades -- after all, which PC company started putting CPU slots in their
- computers way back starting with the A2000? -- they can't maintain 100%
- compatibility with their whole product line forever.
