- Since there seems to be quite a bit of concern regarding the possibility of
- using the fabled AA chipset with the A3000, I thought that I would add my
- $0.02 worth. In June, while applying for Certified Developer Status, I
- inquired as to how plausible it would be to purchase an A3000 system in order
- to begin developing software. While I was made aware of the fact that new
- machines would be appearing in ~6 months, I took the opportunity to ask
- about the A3000/AA chipset situation. The response I was given was basically
- "no problem." I can't confirm the accuracy of this information (developer
- support is often far removed from engineering), but I would take it at face
- value.
