  18. Since there seems to be quite a bit of concern regarding the possibility of
  19. using the fabled AA chipset with the A3000, I thought that I would add my
  20. $0.02 worth. In June, while applying for Certified Developer Status, I
  21. inquired as to how plausible it would be to purchase an A3000 system in order
  22. to begin developing software. While I was made aware of the fact that new
  23. machines would be appearing in ~6 months, I took the opportunity to ask
  24. about the A3000/AA chipset situation. The response I was given was basically
  25. "no problem." I can't confirm the accuracy of this information (developer
  26. support is often far removed from engineering), but I would take it at face
  27. value.
