- This is coming from an Atari user's point of view, but my main argument
- against an IBM compatible is that no matter what your OS setup is on
- it, there's something that just really blows about it (e.g. MS-DOS sucks
- period and Windows or OS/2 have such nasty requirements such as 8MB RAM
- to really be usable and LOTS of hard drive space and LOTS of overhead
- that slows operation way down). If you're unsure about getting an
- Amiga over an IBM compatible, consider a Mac instead. Besides the OS
- situation, another problem with IBM compatibles is that you have to add
- so much crap to them to make it roughly equivalent features-wise to an
- Amiga plus you have to buy one of the more powerful systems to get
- comparable performance to even some of the lower-level Amiga's.
