- See law, US Code, Illegal Infringement of Trade

- Yes and it is also a well known fact that certain things cannot legally be
- required in such cases. Any company can require *some* things but complete
- exclusion of competing products ain't one of 'em. This is one of the
- little strictures that the US Dept. of Justice requires. I've heard of
- several very messy court cases where some corporation or other tried to
- enforce such things on a distributor and was VERY unsuccessful with its
- case. Ever hear a term called "triple damages"? Hell of it is, in many
- such cases it is extremely difficult to assess damages accurately and the
- figure is often set by estimation.

-
- Could be. Or in perhaps ever simpler terms... Lots of companies get away
- with lots of things that ain't legal... for a time.
-
-
- Now... let's hear from someone who has been involved in such a case,
- preferably someone who is a trade law lawyer. :-)
