  23. Yes and it is also a well known fact that certain things cannot legally be
  24. required in such cases.  Any company can require *some* things but complete
  25. exclusion of competing products ain't one of 'em.  This is one of the
  26. little strictures that the US Dept. of Justice requires.  I've heard of
  27. several very messy court cases where some corporation or other tried to
  28. enforce such things on a distributor and was VERY unsuccessful with its
  29. case.  Ever hear a term called "triple damages"?  Hell of it is, in many
  30. such cases it is extremely difficult to assess damages accurately and the
  31. figure is often set by estimation.

  37. with lots of things that ain't legal... for a time.
