- I think the original poster was asking about GNU emacs, not Micro emacs
- (_world_ of difference <grin>).

- As for starting subprocesses, you can fake it by using ARexx an
- re-defining the emacs functions to use it instead of whatever they used
- to do.

- The amiga-set-geometry problem doesn't bother me much, because I usually
- start GNU emacs and leave it running all the time until I reboot my
- machine for some reason.
