- Some good news?
- Commodore UK have officially cut the price of the A600 to 299 pounds
- (was 399 pounds). The A600 HD stays at 499 pounds. It is claimed that
- 65,000 A600 machines have been sold in the first 3 months of sales
- (in the UK). A reason given for the price cut was the high reliability
- of the machine, with less than 1% returned.
- (Tough luck if you were one of the 65,000 who bought an A600 at the
- old price though?)
-
- Also, the A570 is now supposed to be available, although I've yet to
- see one in the shops myself - anyone? Apparently, it has an IDE hard
- drive connector (not SCSI), comes with the Fred Fish CD and costs 399
- pounds.
