  11. Some good news?
  12. Commodore UK have officially cut the price of the A600 to 299 pounds
  13. (was 399 pounds). The A600 HD stays at 499 pounds. It is claimed that 
  14. 65,000 A600 machines have been sold in the first 3 months of sales
  15. (in the UK). A reason given for the price cut was the high reliability
  16. of the machine, with less than 1% returned.
  17. (Tough luck if you were one of the 65,000 who bought an A600 at the
  18. old price though?)

  20. Also, the A570 is now supposed to be available, although I've yet to
  21. see one in the shops myself - anyone? Apparently, it has an IDE hard
  22. drive connector (not SCSI), comes with the Fred Fish CD and costs 399
  23. pounds.
