  12.    Having finally upgraded to Workbench 2.0 on my trusty old Amiga, I
  13. installed GNUEmacs 18.58 [Amiga version 1.25]. This works well, apart from
  14. the (amiga-set-geometry) bug, and the fact that I cannot convince
  15. M-x compile "make" to work.
  16.    The amiga.doc file and the source code seem to indicate that call-process
  17. etc are in place in this version of Emacs, and I *believe* that I got it to
  18. work on one occasion. What normally happens is that Emacs just hangs,
  19. although PowerVisor assures me that a make process exists and is "Ready".
  20.  
  21.    RexxMast is running, if this is relevant.
