- Hi Folks,
-
- I have been having no luck getting my old Amiga 1000 upgraded for speed,
- storage, and memory using the usual channels. Support just seems to be drying
- up for my old 1986 friend. I know there must be a number of folks out there
- with A1000 expansion packages that they want to convert into money. I'm
- looking for (but not necessarily limiting my search to):
-
- = External SCSI drive (40+) and controller for the A1000, _with_ SCSI port
- = A couple to a few megabytes of RAM, ideally as part of above
- = All the necessary software, cabling, and documentation.
-
- I want it to work and I want it to work well, and easily enough that my mother
- (who will undoubtedly inherit this system as an upgrade from her current C=64)
- will not disown me for foisting the beast upon her one day. Depending on the
- details, I can see spending up to $300-400, including C.O.D. shipping, for the
- whole lot before it's not worth the sentiment and I just spring for an A500.
-
- E-mail me an offer at m@apple.com and let's discuss it.
-
