> Nope, if it formatted OK to 880K, the it is an 880K drive. When you try to format a HD disk on a HD drive and you don't have TDPatch installed, you get read/write errors. (At least in my experiance).
I have a high density drive in my 3000, I found out by switching the drives
around. It seems as though the high density drive only works reliably when
it is configured as df0:.
I can format 1.76M Amiga format, 1.44M IBM format and 1.6M Mac Format, all
without additional hardware (other than the AMAX cartridge in the floppy
port)
I am using HDFixer at present, does TDPatch work in the same manner
