  45. I bought three LPS 240 drives back in February and none of them worked with
  46. my A2091 controller. The tech support person said that they were aware of the
  47. problem and were working on a work-around and that they would give me a call
  48. when it was fixed. Well, it's been around seven months now and no call.
  49.  
  50. So I gave their tech support line a call today and the
  51. problem appears to have been in their cache chip. So there going to send me
  52. replacement chips. Their support number is 900-746-4433 ($5.00 charge per
  53. call). I hope this does fix the problem. BTW, the person I talked to (Pat)
  54. said that the problem was on the Commodore side although I've used other
  55. drives on the A2091 such as an old Micropolis 139 meg full height, 40Meg
  56. Quantum, and a Maxtor 350Meg drive. Actually, the Maxtor is comes up to speed
  57. too slowly to be recognized and I have to warm boot to get it to work. :^(
