- Along the same line, I recently got 16 of what I thought were static
- column ZIPs from a local company. When I installed them in my
- A3000-25 I booted up to find, much to my surprise, that everything
- appeared ok (I was not sure I inserted them all the way into their
- sockets). Workbench showed a little over 11 meg free as expected. The
- problem I have is that when I do a setcpu command to enable burst AND
- cache, the system reboots!!! This is not good right?! When I again
- check to see if cache/burst mode are enabled it shows that one is (I
- don't remember which) but not both. I can enable either one successfully
- but not both. Does anyone know if this is what would result from some
- other form of RAM (other than static column). Should I be concerned
- that I did something while inside my system?
-
- Thanks for any help.
