  20. Yep. Just open up old AMY, locate the old ROM chip and replace it.
  21. You have to check the revision of your board though. Some boards
  22. need the jumper that's present on the 2.04 ROM, other's don't. It
  23. is all explained in the 2.04 installation manual. I did it in 5
  24. minutes.

  32. Depends. For productivity mode, you need a VGA or Multi-Sync monitor as it
  33. has a 31.5KHz (VGA type) signal instead of the 15.75KHz signal the A1084
  34. expects. Using Productivity mode on a 1084 or similar modem, might ruin
  35. it. And no, it does not get rid of the flicker since Productivity mode is
  36. 640 x 480 non-interlaced. But takes a lot of system cycles, more than an
  37. equivalent 640 x 400 interlaed Hires screen.

  42. Get onto C= for an update to the new 2.04 compatible JANUS software. Here
  43. in the Netherlands the update is free. It might not be in your country.
