- I have an A2000 rev 4.2. On some HAM display screens, the colors
- flicker wildly, usually in the lower half of the screen, but sometimes
- all over. (This is not interlace flicker - it appears that memory is
- not always being read correctly by the video chip, though RAM tests
- always come up fine).
-
- The problem is strange. Some HAM images cause the problem at all times.
- Other HAM images exhibit the problem only rarely. Most pictures display
- just fine, rock-solid. I can't seem to find a correlation for where the
- image loads in memory. I tried loading many many HAM screens at once,
- and switching betw4een them. Some display with a little bit of flicker,
- others with a lot. All the same IFF image, too.
-
- My computer has been upgraded to 1 Meg chip RAM, correctly (so far as I
- can tell). Is this a known rev 4.2 problem or is something weird
- happening here?
