- Just wanted to know if anyone out there has any cost effective ways
- for flicker elimination on an A500 (wb 2.04/Ecs Agnus/Ecs Denise)??
- At this point, I do not require color, as I will be mainly using this
- setup for Amax (which currently does not support color). I have heard
- about possibly using a monochrome vga display, and running in productivity
- mode under amax, or using a long persistance composite monitor. Will
- either of these solutions work effectively?? Any trade-offs?? I have
- seen in the latest AmigaWorld an ad from Grapevine about the refurbished
- CBM 1403 monochrome vga monitor's. Any comments using this monitor
- for the purpose of flicker-elimination? Btw, what is the magic scan
- frequency that I am looking for for the productivity mode?? I believe
- that 15.75 is ntsc video, would it be 31.2??
-
- Thanks for any help!!!
