- I am about to upgrade my 2000HD to 2.0 and I was wondering how much trouble it
- is to do the upgrade myself. I have seen an upgrade kit advertised for about
- $90, which includes the ROM chip, the software, and the manuals. I gather that
- all that I have to do is just take out the old ROM, stick in the new one,
- re-install the 2.0 software, and I am on my way. Is it really that easy?
-
- Also, I have seen where it is possible to order a "Super Denise" which
- supposedly will give me a "productivity mode" that is flicker-free. Does it
- really get rid of the flicker? Has anyone got one in a 2000? Will it even
- work in a 2000? Is it worth the extra $$$ to get one along with the 2.0
- upgrade?
-
- Also, does anyone have a bridgeboard (2088, in my case) that is running under
- 2.0? Are there any problems?
-
- Thanks for ANY and ALL kinds of help/suggestions!
