- I recently bought a CSA-MMR '030/'882/MMU from Memory World (Bensalem,
- PA). They stuck a 33MHz crystal on what I believe was a 20MHz CPU and
- said it would probably be alright, but if I saw problems I should
- switch to a 28MHz crystal. Has anyone else tried to couple the FPU and
- CPU of a 20MHz 68030 to a 33MHz crystal and is there any reason I
- should beware of this combination. I haven't experienced any problems
- I can say with certaintity are related to this setup, but a friend
- warned me that the fast crystal could (and probably would) burn out my
- CPU. Any opinions/suggestions? Email appreciated.
