  29. I certainly understand your concerns. Anyway, even if you had a board
  30. with the autoconfig (which would really be nice), you still have to
  31. burn a PAL so the autoconfig can get the manufacturer's number (or
  32. whatever they call that code now), which tells the software what
  33. driver to load for the card. If you don't have an assigned #, you can
  34. fake one as long as it doesn't conflict with anything else in your
  35. machine.

  37. CATS used to publish a little book with the expansion specifications
  38. and A1000 schematics all together. This is a good reference and gives 
  39. an example design with an autoconfigure circuit, PAL eqn's, etc. I
  40. think the technical manuals for the A2000 also have the PAL equations.

  43. (I don't have it here).
