- Geez... how lucky can you get!

- What you might look for is a MsgPort (use xoper or something
- similar). The usual way to rendez-vous on the Amiga is by creating
- a public message port --- even if no messages ever get sent to it.
- Now, this is TOTALLY A KLUDGE, but you may be able to change the name
- of an operating port --- don't forget to forbid()! You might try
- AllocMem()'ing some memory for the string, and then linking it, or
- making the current name different --- but the same length (similar to
- filezap). You'll need to make a C program to do this (or have a good
- debugger!)
-
- R> 2) Hardware: A2232 board seems to work fine, but it seems to crash the
- R> A3000 quite regularily with a 8000 0004 Guru. Usually during
- R> hard disk access. (Do they interfere?) Can I up the HD
- R> filesystem priority? Any hardware jumpers? Other ideas?
-
- All I've heard is that they're buggy.
-
- R> Any help would be greatly appreciated. All hardware and

- R> v.32bis connected to standard serial port. 5 Supra FAX Modem
- R> Plus's connected to A2232. 2.0 loads (kickstarts) from HD, and
- R> reboots to start.
-
- Have you ever tried all connected to A2232? Not that it should
- matter.
-
- R> I am trying to operate all six FAXmodems at once to "blast

-
- What a concept.
