  15. I got a couple of questions for all you netters out there.

  17. I recently purchased a used A2090 SCSI controller for an old A2000. I haven't
  18. gotten it yet (UPS ground) but I was wondering a few things about it.

  20. I know the controller isn't auto-booting, and that's no big deal. The problem
  21. is is that the machine already has the 2 3.5" and the 5.25" drive bays full.
  22. Can a 3.5" Hd be mounted onto the card to act as a hard card?

  24. Also, how would one Low-Level format this drive? Is there a special software
  25. package involved?

  27. Does this interface support the FFS? I'd think not, but I'm not sure.

  29. If the drive can't be mounted on the card, are there any other good places
  30. inside the A2000 to put the drive? The A2000 already has an A2088 and a Supra
  31. Ram expander. I was thinking that I could just mount all the cards as far
  32. to the left of the case as possible, and lay the drive down on top of the
  33. remaining expansion slots. Would this be OK? How many drive power cables
  34. are there inside of an A2000  (the machine is not mine) ???
