- I am the (proud) owner of an A2000 (rev4.4), an NEC3D,
- and Commodore's A2320 Display Enhancer card. Recently,
- I have seen posts regarding the "black border" that can
- be found on "lesser quality" computer systems (read IBM,
- MAC, NeXT, etc), and how these monitors can solve this
- problem.
-
- Without using the A2320, I was quite capable of using the
- monitor's "sizing" controls to stretch the screen image so
- that it filled the entire display, but when the A2320 is
- active, I can't seem to stretch it that much. When using
- other video cards (EGA/VGA, and so forth) this is not a
- problem, just with the A2320 when not in its bypass mode.
-
- Is there a way to increase the "width" of the image that it
- is sending to the monitor (so to speak)? The screen has
- enough height, but not enough width. I still see the rather
- annoying "zipper" edge on the right hand side of the display.
- (Is there a resistor/capacitor than can be adjusted/replaced,
- or some other similar (or simpler) change that can be made??)
-
