  11. Hey all..
  12.     For my latest project, I purchased a Northgate Omnikey Ultra X for
  13. my '1000.
  14.     The adaptor that I built works fine, and the keyboard (I'm typing
  15. with it now) is behaving itself.
  16.     I had to change the wiring of the RESET button on the back
  17. (Northgate didn't follow the specifications for resetting the Amiga from the
  18. keyboard... bad Northgate!), which simply involved jumpering the KCLK line
  19. to one side of the switch... So my accelerated Computer resets fine now.
  20.  
  21.     My problem (you knew there had to be one, didn't you?) involves some
  22. of the extra keys on the board.
  23.     I have a modified Keymap that I got from GEnie for the keyboard, and
  24. it adds some features.

  26.     I can't get programs (CygnusED is a notable example) to recognize
  27. the page up, page down, home, and end keys.  
  28.     I've tried changing the keymap file several ways, with no success.

  30.     Anyone got any good suggestions???

  33. (by the way, the feel of the keyboard is just great ... Northgate is selling
  34. them for $69, the Amiga Keycaps are $15...)
