  12. Hello...  I recently got a Trumpcard 500AT, but it did not work at
  13. first.  The setup-utility seemed to pause when I run it and it never went
  14. to the format screen.  Well, as it turned out, it was the problem with
  15. the drive (I had a Xelek 120.6 MG, and it didn't recognize the drive).

  17. Anyway, so I went out and replaced the drive with a Connor 170MG drive.
  18. Now everything works, or at least I thought so.  It scanned the drive,
  19. showed that there were no errors, then went on setting up the drive.
  20. After that, the HD boots and everything seems to go fine with one
  21. exception--every once a while, the drive gives a little "Volume b -
  22. checksum error block 10038"...  Sometimes it gives the same block number
  23. and sometimes it jumps around between five or six numbers.  Everytime
  24. this happens, when I reboot the computer, the problem disappears.  I
  25. didn't think the problem was very major until finally one of the blocks
  26. (with checksum error) remained there even after a cold-boot.  It didn't
  27. validate one of the two partitions, and therefore I decided to re-setup
  28. the drive.  Now it's still giving me a few checksums here and there
  29. (maybe a couple every few hours or so)...

  31. So what's wrong with this?  Does the power-supply have to do with this?
  32. I have an A500 with an external drive and Trumpcard 500AT with 170 MB
  33. Connor drive and 5 MB of RAM.  If so, which power-supply do you recommend
  34. that I get?  Also, does it help if I disconnect the external drive?  Or
  35. is it an entirely different problem?
