  14. I really hope this is the right group to post this question/plea to.
  15. I want to buy this 82meg Micropolis HD..._BUT_ when I connect it to
  16. my A2091 + 40meg Quantum, I get the same LUN #'s for both drives.
  17. Different scsi addresses(6 for Quantum, 1 for Micropolis) but the same
  18. LUNs.  So, thinks I, You've got to change the Jumper for the LUN#...
  19. Ok, so where _IS_ the jumper for the LUN#? Well?
  20. Well that's my question: Does anyone out in netland
  21. have one of these things, or the docs for one, or maybe someone from
  22. Micropolis is out there reading this and can lend a hand.(Yeah Right!)

  24. Drive specs: 1986 Micropolis Model #1373a (5 1/4", full-height)
  25.                              Part # 900488-18-0A
  26. The Drive says 'scsi 106 mb' on the media defect table but it
  27. only formats out to ~80 meg.  It formats out correctly and reports no
  28. errors.  It reports all bad blocks listed on the table.
  29. I have come this conclusion because I'm assuming that both the physical
  30. addresses(LUN#) and virtual address(scsi address) have to be different.
  31. BTW: I'm running an Amiga2000, A2091 scsi controller(w/ver6.1 roms)
  32. a 40meg quantum, and 3meg ram(total).  I'm also unsure of changing the
  33. jumper settings on the controller.  From what I've read in the manual,
  34. I don't think I have to change anything there.  Thanks for the help.
