  30. I had something similar happen w/ a Trumpcard-500 expansion box on an
  31. A1000.  The trumpcard-500 box has 2 expansion slots.  With only a
  32. Meta-4 2MEG memory card it was fine.  Then, I went and added a
  33. Trumpcard SCSI controller in the first slot, and the memory in the
  34. second.  I couldn't get both cards to work at the same time.  IVS
  35. suggested dirty contacts on the autoconfig lines.

  37. Well, I switched the boards (Memory in first slot, SCSI in 2nd) and it
  38. works fine now (no idea why).

  42. P.S. - BTW, I have 2.04 in ROM so I have new PALS and no
  43. daughterboard.  I thought this would ensure very clean signals so I
  44. was surprised to have the above problems at all.
