  20. Well, a friend of mine had a monitor that would not display any black.  The
  21. solution that worked was to run a head demagnatizer wand (or a bulk tape eraser)
  22. over the screen a few times.  It worked for him.  Couldn't hurt - maybe the
  23. monitor was near a strong magnetic field.
