- Hi all.....
-
- Super-8 film Animation system for sale. The Chinon camera is
- the top-of-the-line in Super8. I have used this system for both
- "traditoinal" cell animation and for computer animation since the
- camera can be electrically triggered to capture a frame.
-
- The equipment:
-
- Camera - Chinon 200/12 XL Sound camera
- Top of the line in Super-8 cameras.
- Accepts 50 and 200' film cartridges.
- 12X Zoom, maunal or motorized (2-speed)
- Macro lens setting.
- Fades, crossfades and dissolves of picture and sound.
- Short boom microphone.
- Film speeds 18,24,25, and 30 fps.
- Instant slow-motion function (30 fps)
- Full auto -or- manual exposure controls.
- Full auto or manual audio controls.
- Single-frame setting (for animation)
- Time-lapse settings (between 1 and 60 seconds)
- Camera has external trigger jack (electrical contact)
-
-
- Goko motorized film editor/viewer -
-
- For clear desktop viewing of Super8 film, used in
- edit process.
- Unit is motorized with adjustable speed.
-
- Motorized Beveled Splicer - (German)
-
- Mortorized diamond-dust wheels grind precision bevel into
- film for superior cement splicing.
-
- Matte-box - (German)
-
- This handy matte box attaches nicely to the front
- of the Chinon, and includes matte cards for mountains,
- binoculars, keyhole, etc... Fully adjustable with
- included bellows.
-
- EWA Back-winder
-
- This device allows the backwinding of Super8 film
- cartridges for purposes of multiple element shots or
- double exposure "ghost" effects.
-
- All equipment is my own, and has received the very best care
- (especially considering I invested over $2K in it). The camera
- has been kept in a padded aluminum case (the case is not for
- sale, sorry...). All items are in new/perfect condition.
-
- The reason why I've decided to part with it is because I came up
- with the $$$ to go into full video animation, so I simply don't
- animate to film anymore...
-
- I hope this answers most questions about the equipment.
