- Wasp will convert to Dynamic Hi-res, but usually I've found that some
- nasty bands appear in the converted image. My own personal recommendation
- is to go with a program called HamLabPlus, which can convert to and from
- a lot of different formats and can perform dithering. I personally like
- to save images in PCHG format (which is similar to Dynamic Hi-res in
- concept, but generally results in less banding). I then use Mostra 1.07
- to view the PCHG image. The results are usually nothing less than
- spectacular, especially when combined with Floyd-Steinberg (or some
- other) dithering techniques.
-
- You should be able to obtain both the HamLabPlus demo version (it's about
- $20 shareware) and Mostra 1.07 from wuarchive.wustl.edu.
