  20. I had the same problem (although in the other direction, iff24 ->ppm),
  21. and was pointed to wuarchive.wustl.edu, /systems/amiga/video/utils/converters,
  22. the file is ppm.lzh. It contains two converters, 24toppm and ppmto24,
  23. which were written by Albert Brouwer (sp?). Unfortunately, they still
  24. didn't really do what I wanted - I had a quite colorful IFF24 picture of
  25. a landscape, converted it to ppm, but a check with ppmquant gave me just
  26. about 120 colors - by far too few. Seems like there is still a demand
  27. for such programs, best would be WITH source for Un*x systems. :-)

  34. Is ADPro already capable of reading/writing PPM ? The last time I saw it
  35. it couldn't do so (which I think is a major lack, PPM is such a nice and
  36. simple format..). If not yet available, these might be written soon - I
  37. read in a german Amiga mag that the specs about loaders/savers etc. are
  38. released now for programmers wishing to write new modules for ADPro.
