- I would consider this to be a secondary concern, but useful for those wanting
- to incorporate structured graphics into multimedia presentations etc.
- Fortunately, existing structured drawing packages all have this IFF/ILBM output
- capability.

-
- The association with raster image processing is due to the fact that
- Black Belt and ASDG were solicited as prospective candidates to
- either include such conversion capabilities or perhaps develop a standalone
- facility directed more towards the DTP/CAD market. An autotrace function
- was suggested to bridge the gap between the two areas.
-
- I consider support for vector-based graphics to be more within the domain of
- either Stylus, Soft-Logik or Gold Disk, but consider both Black Belt and ASDG
- as more likely candidates. I came to this conclusion after contacting the other
- companies, whose response ranged from potential consideration to
- indifference. When you consider the fact that Gold Disk's Windows Pro Draw
- package more than adequately fulfills this interest, the resources devoted
- to the Amiga version appear rather token.
-
- Cheers,
