  11.    Technically, BROADCAST QUALITY means a video signal comforms to the RS-170A
  12. standard.  This is a list of requirements that the signal must meet to be
  13. considered broadcast quality.
  14.    Since the Computer Video revolution, lots of manufacturers are claiming
  15. broadcast quality.  Most of the time it means "24-bit color in high
  16. resolution".  Most of the time it DOES_NOT mean it comforms to the rigid
  17. technical requirments of RS-170A.  The Video Toaster was one of the first
  18. (though I recall Supra and Magni Systems claiming RS-170A) products that
  19. claimed to truly conform to the RS-170A requirements.
