- Actually, the real shuttle is supposed to be a DREAM to fly... and
- that it responds very well, and is very forgiving.

- The "brickyard" term so often quoted doen not apply to the
- handling characteristics, but rather the fact that it's
- flightpath on decent (up until final approach) is quite
- steep.... very steep actually. The stubby wings don't
- generate much lift at higher altitudes, so they simply let it
- "fall" (like a brickyard, a reference to the thousands of
- insulation tiles on the orbiter surfice) until it gets
- to the denser air where it begins assume a more typical
- flight profile.
