  14. I've been playing Deuteros for a couple of days, and I always
  15. end up the same way. Dead.

  17. Everything is fine until I start fighting the methanoids. At that point I 
  18. usually have five orbitals and one of the methanoids gives me the plans for
  19. a methanoid fusion laser. I start to build drones as fast as I can, but when 
  20. the methanoids attack one of my orbitals, they blow me to kingdom come.

  22. I've tried to attack them first, after the war as begun of course, and I manage
  23. to destroy one of their orbitals if I gather all of my drones and attack with 
  24. them. But then I have almost none left when they retaliates.

  26. Since the drones needs :
  27.  
  28. 120 Iron
  29. 120 Titanium
  30. 120 Aluminium
  31.  16 Carbon
  32.  55 Copper
  33.  30 Platinum
  34.  30 Paladium
  35.  
  36. my stock of minerals always dries up before I have built more than 200 drones. 
  37. The methanoids always attack with 100 - 150 drones, and after two or three 
  38. attacks I'm defeated.
  39.  
  40. Now, what do I do to defeat these methanoids ? 
  41. Have I missed something that helps me ?
