  11. 'Kermit' as a standalone program does not exist for the Amiga; however you
  12. can find a lot of communications program handling the kermit protocol.
  13. What I use to connect to VAXes IBMs and Unixs is VLT, available from
  14. Fish disks; in addition you need xprkermit, always from Fish disks.
  15. The shareware/freely distributable communications programs are all
  16. better than commercial ones. You will not find many postings in
  17. comp.sys.amiga.datacomm referring to VLT, and for just one simple
  18. reason: VLT HAS NO PROBLEMS ;-)
