- Lawsuits are expensive propositions when the person you are sueing is close
- to home. If they are in another state it only gets worse. Not everyone whom
- Ken has ripped off is a major corporation. At the very LEAST Ken should
- have the balls to give due credit to those who have had their code used in
- his program. It is considered not only immoral, but unethical to use
- someone else's code without at least proper credit.
-
- Even my own DOOR program mentions that it is not I who came up with it
- originally. I took it over from some fellow who went by the handle Blackmar
- and was originally calling it Blackmar's Dungeon.

- Again, Mike couldn't afford to do anything. That doesn't mean he wasn't
- ticked off about it. Word has it he was beside himself because Ken never
- even asked if he could do it. Ken just went ahead and stole it. Mike was
- pretty much willing to work with other people who were interested in it,
- but that doesn't give Ken the right to just take it. Yes, Skypix was based
- on ANSI, but that doesn't mean the changes he made didn't make it his own
- to copyright. Go to an IBM and check out the literally hundreds of
- different ANSI drivers for it. Each is slightly different and each is
- copyrighted by a different company or individual and then try and use the
- logic you used above.
-
- As for leaving Ken mail about it. You might as well be talking to a brick
- wall. You'd get a better conversation from the wall...
