- Greetings.
-
- I was thinking of purchasing the new SupraFaxModem v.32bis in about 3 weeks
- and a had a few questions...
-
- I run a BBS and the majority of highspeed, local modem users have HST's. Does
- anyone know of any problems that these users might experience if they try a
- highspeed connection with the supra? (obivously, there is little point for
- me to buy the modem if nobody will be able to take advantage of the high
- speed connection ;-) ).
-
- Also, how severe are the rom problems that I've been reading about? I remember
- reading a while ago that someone could not use JrComm 'cause of some odd
- behaviour of their supra upon connection to a host...
-
- Lastly, can someone enlighten me to the specific difference between a
- Dual Standard HST and the suprafax? I thought I knew what the dual standards
- were all about, but I must obviously be mistaken since they sell for over
- $800 (canadian) locally and the suprafax sells for $309US (which, in itself,
- is a powerful motivator for buying it instead ;-) ).
-
- Thanks for any help!
