- Speed, what are you talking about? I assume the person was complaining
- because of the incompatibility between revisions. I used to program C-Doors
- for CNet, it was terrible having to recompile his headers in. The person was
- referring to EXCELSIOR!'s door interface. You will NEVER have to recompile
- a door to get it to work. I think thats what his point was.

- Thats what the author of the post was talking about. Ken has NO right to say
- "Rip off" to another BBS when it is documented that he used some features from
- other BBS software.
-
- >I may be wrong on this one, but I thought this was because XPR libraries

-
- You are wrong. EXCELSIOR! is 100% resident. XPR's and all. They may not be
- residentable to Ken, but it can, and was done ;)
-
- >What do you mean? It seems to work like a shell for me! The only thing it

-
- Right, it doesnt work like the shell. It was a cut and paste hack. Obviously
- he just included it in since he left the COPYRIGHT notice intact. If he
- looked into it, instead of copying it, he would have seen some flaws.
-
- >He liked the way another system did messages, and conferance, so he made
- >his similar, and that _was_ a rip? I don't understand...
-
- Correct! Thats exactly what the author of the original post was talking
- about. Ken is a hypocrite, thats all. EXCELSIOR! was designed with CNet
- in mind, don't get me wrong, it was just designed a lot better thats all.
- Ken just cant face up to the facts. He knows he stole code.

-
- Great, dont steal too much, just a little wont hurt anybody. Like I said
- before, he included the code, probably never really looked at it. Most
- of the source released is to help others. Not for people like Ken to cut it
- out, put it in their code, and then sell it!
