  14. I installed Amiga TCP/IP on my Amiga and started playing around with it. I
  15. soon discovered that my NFS throughput was something less than desirable.
  16. 94 kb/s via disktest. I changed the max sizes but that changed nothing. I am
  17. getting <2 ms ping times so I don't think the connection is faulty.
  18. What are the speeds that other people are getting from their machines,
  19. before I start ripping out things, or getting a sniffer to diagnose this
  20. further.

  22. My setup is as follows...
  23. Amiga 3000 w/ 10 MB Ram & 200 MB HD connected via ethernet to an IBM PC/RT
  24. running BSD4.3 with 16 MB of Ram and 1 GB of disk. I have 8 nfsd & biod
  25. running on the RT, I have increased NFS maxread & maxwrite to 16k but got no
  26. discernible change. Am I missing something obvious? I have yet to do a total
  27. througput test using ftp (I didn't think about that until after I was at
  28. work.) so I will have more data later.
