- Without more info it sounds like a problem I had not more than a week ago.
- I was using my VLT term program and it crashed (no task held option either)
- and up came the guru... great gotta reboot. So did a warm reboot and it
- came back. Maybe a virus. So turned it off and back on... booted ok but
- 30 secs later it gurued again. So I though about it; funny it just crashed
- and gurued while it was gurued. Isn't the guru error code bullet proof
- practically. Sure enough the CPU guru traps where just firing off at random.
- I opened my case up and removed the 68000 CPU and re-inserted it. I also
- gave a good firm press too all the other socked chips on the motherboard
- and put it back together. NO MORE GURUS. Seems the CPU came loose after
- 3 years of usage and constant moving. Remember its only a plastic shell
- and flexes easily. This WILL void your warrantee so if your squimish get
- someone qualified to check.
