  18. My hard drive has only ever become unvalidated as a result of either using a
  19. version of zoo or lharc etc. which crashed while writing to disk.  Since then
  20. I ONLY unpack to RAM disk where I can diddle with it without mucking up my
  21. hard drive.  If you don't have enough RAM then if the archive is not too large
  22. you can always unpack to an empty floppy.  It may take a bit longer, but not
  23. nearly as long as fixing a hard drive partition.
