- If you have a software switched VIDC Enhancer, then when you upgrade to RISC
- OS 3.10 you will find my VIDCClock module extremely useful. This module
- switches your VIDC speed up and down depending on what speed the RISC OS 3
- kernel thinks it should be running at. You should then use A540 format mode
- definitions in preference to older VIDC enhancer ones (if you use an older
- module, it may fight with my software about what speed to run the VIDC at).
- The biggest advantage of this (apart from it being the "right" way to do it)
- is that sound will be at the correct pitch in 36 MHz modes.
-
- VIDCClock can be obtained from Newcastle as VIDClock (note one 'C' in the
- middle not two). Source code and documentation on A540 format mode
- definitions is included.
-
- This module was produced for my own needs and may not work on all
- combinations of systems. This module is not produced by Acorn and is
- therefore not supported by Acorn in any way.

- Owen.
